Sarah Wong Bloom

Sarah is currently admitted to practice in New York and California. 

Sarah received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in Communications and minored in Creative Writing. Sarah received her Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law, where she graduated in the top ten percent of her class and was named Order of the Coif. During law school, Sarah interned with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York in the General Crimes, Violent Crimes, and Human Trafficking Divisions. Sarah also published a note during law school on why revenge porn should be criminalized titled: “No Vengeance for ‘Revenge Porn’ Victims: Unraveling Why This Latest Female-Centric, Intimate-Partner Offense is Still Legal, and Why We Should Criminalize It,” 42 Fordham Urb. L.J. 234 (2014).

Prior to joining the firm, Sarah worked at Bryan Cave LLP in New York City, where she represented clients in labor and employment and general commercial litigation matters. While at Bryan Cave, Sarah was on the firm’s pro bono committee, and represented a variety of pro bono clients including: two Syrian refugees’ application for asylum, a Honduran domestic violence victim in her application for asylum, Section 8 housing tenants in landlord disputes, and Clemency Project applicants seeking commutation of their criminal sentences.
