Roger A. Stetter

I called Mr. Stetter to discuss a case that my cousin's volunteer organization is involved in, as she is in need of representation. I am very familiar with the case, and frequently help my cousin with these types of calls. Less than 30 seconds into our phone conversation, Mr. Stetter told me that I... was 'wasting his time' by calling on behalf of my cousin, and less than 30 seconds after that he hung up on me. He did not ask one question about the case in the time that we spoke, but he did suggest that I have my cousin call him if she wanted to work with him... as if I would pass along a recommendation for someone who was so incredibly rude and short on the phone! This person may be a good attorney, but my one minute on the phone with him left me convinced that I would not work with this man if he were the last attorney in the world. I would not recommend working with a person who believes a basic phone inquiry (one that might lead to paid work nonetheless) is a 'waste of his time.'
