Biography
Represent the parents and guardians of children with special needs in obtaining appropriate programming, services and placement. Representation has included children with specific learning disabilities, emotional disabilities, physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, TBI, attention deficit disorder and autism. Experienced in all phases of 504 and IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) proceedings from initiating a referral for special education services to attendance at planning and placement team meetings, IEP (individualized education program) meetings and representation at mediation, resolution sessions, due process hearings and court actions.
Represent both regular and special education students in school disciplinary, expulsion and dismissal hearings.
