I hired him in 1989 when I used to live in Brooklyn. After I paid the landlord to rent her house, she did not let me move in and did not want to return the money. A friend referred me to him and he prepared the case for me to go to small claim court, trained me, used a lot of his time on me and did a... minimal charge for his services and I won the case. Robert Wanker represented me in my divorce proceeding starting 2008. Not only it took him over a year to actually get me a divorce, he filed the wrong papers in court so now my husband gets my daughter overnight an extra day every two weeks plus every holiday. The attorney represented the executor of my grandmother's estate, a house in Brooklyn. He not only acted as the attorney for the estate but acted as a real estate agent , selling the house against our wishes. He then moved the proceeds of the estate out of an escrow account and then refused to pay t...he money owed to the beneficiaries, although he paid himself $90,000 and paid the executor. We still do not have our money and are filing a grievance complaint and a complaint with the bar association. The DA told us he acted improperly and may be laible for the amount owed to us because he has not protected the money.
