Great Experience

I am very lucky close friends recommended Robert Sainburg and I had to look no further. My experience with Robert’s firm is that you will always be told the truth and there will be no sugar coating, which is an important Value I wanted in a representing attorney. Robert always kept me well infor...med of any situations/ communication and the various options at hand to navigate through a challenging divorce. Responses to calls/ emails were always very prompt. Robert is to the point, exacting and most of all has the ability to look at the situation at hand and come up with outside the box solutions. He is very professional in his billing methodology and provides a monthly summary statement with detailed notes of time spent on the case. Robert is very detailed and covers issues that might be unique to the situation at hand. Robert’s firm is a highly experienced and very competent law firm.

I wouldn't recommend

I was looking forward to writing a good review of Mr. Sainburg’s practice upon a positive impression during my consultation with him. I hadn’t made up my mind as to whether or not he was the right one for my case as I left his office, but he was very insistent on inviting me back to his office and pr...omised that he would be able to help me get the best outcome possible. It made me think that he was passionate and he kept demonstrating his utmost confidence in his ability to best help me. He promised me that he could work out a lot of issues in the proposal of the opposing party, correct them, and resolve my complicated case in my best interests. After 8 months, following all of Robert’s instructions, step by step of his guidance, providing his office with every single possible document he requested, and even hiring an outside accountant to compute and audit all the documents the opposite party calculated and provided, Robert summarized in one sentence that the offer the opposite party was written just fine. Did I really just spend 8 months just for him to agree to what the opposite party had proposed?!!? This got us nowhere from the initial proposal I showed him the day I met him!! He made no effort to change the demands of the opposite party and got me to an awful solution that could have been reached without his help. His 8 months of “help” gave me nothing… During all this time, I was able to get very familiar with my case myself, and was helping him come up with ideas and thoughts. After my frustration, I asked Robert to draft from scratch an alternative offer that he could present to the opposing party, based on everything he learned about my case and HIS professional knowledge. I wanted a reasonable and realistic offer that would be taken seriously by the opposite party. He wrote a too good to be true offer, making probably fun of me in his head, and making the other party laugh at two of us. By that time, he charged me everything I have saved all my life, and told me that I have no choice but to accept the opposite party’s offer. I was shocked. He also told me that he is very busy with other cases and he is sorry that he doesn’t work 100% anymore on my case. He reduced his fees twice, but still charging me for duplicating the documents that were provided to him more than once. He ultimately completely lost interest in my case right at the very end, dropping me in my time of need after spending so much time and effort familiarizing himself with my case all because I asked him for explanation of his work. So instead of finding the solution, he showed me to the door and presented me with the attorney’s substitution form. I would never, ever recommend Robert to anyone due to his lack of results and lack of integrity in his work. I regret trusting his confidence that he showed me upon first meeting him, and wish I had known that it was all just a facade. He got me nowhere, and only drained me of my life savings.

Thank you Anna for the review of our firm. We very much appreciate all feedback from our consumers. I appreciate that you have taken the time to write us a recommendation. Times of divorce, particularly in instances of painful child custody dispute, are some of the worst times of our lives. You had excellent counsel before your engagement of our firm and you appear to have engaged excellent counsel following our firm's tenure on the matter. In short, you appear to have been well-represented throughout. I recall your initial comments to me just prior to engagement that you thought I might not be interested in your case as I was praising your prior attorney but a professional provides advice that is in his or her client's interests, not his or her own pecuniary interests. Although your repeated changing of attorneys has likely been exhausting for you, and does tend to increase your costs of this matter, you, and you alone, can decide what works for you and it is imperative that you have trust in your attorneys who you have engaged to represent you and to advise you. We thank you for the sandwiched in period of time in-between firms that we were provided to have served your interests. Providing you with step-by-step guidance is what we try to do and we are thrilled that you appreciated this practice. We are happy to have been able to have settled so much of your case and to have helped in improving your situation, from the securing of peace in your household and exclusive use of your family home, to achieving a great deal of financial support, both spousal and child for you, as well as the payment of most of the bills, just to name just a few of the many advances you and your family had during my period of representation of you. I hope with this solid foundation that your matter now has, your new counsel will be in a position to promptly bring this entire matter to a close. Of course, you and your attorneys work as a team and your voice must be always heard and is paramount. Please feel free to recommend our services to others. We were honored to discount our rates for you and appreciate your acknowledgment in your review. The fact that we compassionately did it on our own knowing your finances and suffering, and receiving the appreciation shown by this review, does not escape us. Many of our clients have financial limitations that arise out of becoming a single parent and we try to work within their budgets. Indeed, your not having paid our final bill issued months ago, we wrote off the balance believing it to have been either an oversight or a manifestation of the reality in which you were enduring. We hope that your latest firm will be able to have positive and successful communication with you so that your best interests are met in the end. We wish you and your children a wonderful and brilliant future. Again, Anna, thank you for your statement of appreciation for all that we have done for you and we wish you well

Divorce atturney

Robert really knows what he is doing! He is such a great divorce attorney! He helped me to settle my divorce the best possible way, even though it was not easy and I was not always on easy client. When I first came to him, my financial situation was much better than it became in the near future (not ...because of attorney fees). Robert gave me a financial break, I was able to pay later for his great job that never stopped because of my money situation at the moment. I am still able to call Robert for on advise long after my case was settled. I would hardly recommend Robert to my any of my friends as a divorce attorney.

Great Family Law Attorney

Have hired this attorney in 2011. Had an ugly case and Robert jumped on it right away and quickly defused it. He is very aggressive and very professional lawyer. Spend tons of time on my case to resolve it and the same time has helped me to control my funds. He is honest and very diligent. Hire this ...attorney and he will fight for you.
