Robert Clemente Matheu

Mr. Matheu represented me as a conflict attorney. He failed to give me copies of the discoveries for four-months and when he did it was after your honor asked if he did and I said that he did not. When I received these documents they were not redacted allowing me to see the witnesses against me perso...nal information(their social security, license and telephone numbers, addresses, and other identifying information). Out of 8 promises to visit he came twice and "forgot my file." He did not follow leads which I gave him. For example, there were video evidence to support my defense and when I asked him to subpoena this he rolled his eyes and said "anyways." After I fired him on the record he showed up at court telling your honor false facts. He began an investigation nearly 5 months later and stopped it after interviewing witnesses who made false reports against me. I was not informed of court proceedings and never received any paperwork regarding any of my cases. He mostly scared me into taking a plea telling me "you're toast" and he did not ever give me hope. When I could have plead differently he did not give me other options. If you value your freedom and you are truly innocent I would skip by this attorney.
