I felt completely supported!

I can't begin to thank Bob and Tamara enough for getting me through the worst time of my life, a divorce. From the moment I walked in, Tamara made me feel welcome and safe. I arrived uncertain of my future with my children due to the sudden departure of my husband. Bob Harrian handled everything wi...th the utmost of care and I was well-supported due to his diligence and hard work. I was able to support my family and go through college. They offered words of encouragement, which was so important to me. My divorce ended up being much more favorable to me than I had any idea would be possible. I've read some of the previous reviews and am astounded that they are even talking about the right people. I have known the Harrians since about 2000, over 20 years. They have handled a variety of cases for me and my family. Anytime I needed anything, I could call and ask Bob, and he would take the time to make sure I always understood my options. I have always known Bob and Tamara to be kind, honest, supportive people. I feel like I have one of the last law firms that seem like the kind of family that would be there no matter what.

Crooked Practice

Bob would not share all my ex’s financial data in dividing assets in my divorce. I later learned my ex and I had several millions of dollars in shared assets during marriage, my ex didn’t share with the court. I never saw anything close to my entitled share and I have had trauma & health issues tha...t inhibited me from working Bob knew all of this. The ripple effect of greed has caused irreversible damages, affecting my children, too. I read up about Bob’s practice at risk of closing and why. Countless poor reviews. Karma’s a b****, huh Bob. I sincerely hope you fry in hell.

It is very unlikely that the person who wrote this review was actually a client of mine. I usually perform my services as a neutral attorney appointed by the court or the parties family law attorneys to divide retirement plans. Both parties are entitled to receive copies of any records provided to me by the other and I have never not provided records when requested. When the project is done, and if I had to run calculations, a report is issued. It is important for clients to be comfortable with the calculations before they are requested to sign off on a dividing order so that is why it is also important for me to provide records to them. What this individual has said is simply not how it works leading me to believe that he/she was never a client. If this person discover that his/her former spouse had hidden several millions of dollars, then there is simply no way that this would not have come to my attention. Nothing remotely similar to this has ever come to my attention in my 33 years of practice. Please note that I do not INVESTIGATE the existence of anyone's assets. That is not what I do. I follow the terms of the divorce decree and implement any required order to divide the plans identified in the decree. It is up to a person's family law attorney during the divorce proceeding to investigate the existence of community assets. The review is further suspect because how can a husband or wife not know if they have millions of dollars? How did he/she just now discover it? Why didn't the family law attorney representing him/her investigate it? Also, in Arizona, an asset not divided in a divorce decree can still be divided post decree. In any event, I never render services to investigate non-disclosed assets. Lastly, what is said about my practice being at risk of closing is just nonsense. Even in this "Covid time", I am very busy. In fact, I am so busy that a month ago, I terminated my estate planning services to free time so as not to have to work 6 days a week. I only perform services dividing retirement plans. I do not know why this person wrote this review but, if he/she was a client, I wish they would have identified themselves so I could call and try to work things out.

Thank You Robert Harrian & Staff!!!

Somehow thank you just doesn't seem enough. When I first went to Harrian Law Firm, I didn't know what to expect, I met with Robert and as he talked to me and explained everything I felt totally safe and relaxed. I was so confused, hurt and didn't know if I could trust another human being again... after my divorce (but as I sat and listened, I just knew I could trust this man) as well as fearful about my future because I had planned on falling back on my ex-husband's retirement plan when I retired. I had given up an excellent career with retirement to start my own business and my ex and I were in agreement that his retirement was enough for us; well that was before he decided to leave the marriage and left me out to dry. I was told that I was due half of my ex husbands retirement plan which didn't add up to that much after he had been pulling money out of it without my knowledge. Robert informed me on my first visit, that I also am due half of his pension plan, a pension plan I didn't know existed. Robert took care of getting my portion on that to; Most lawyers that I had contacted prior going to Harrian Law Firm, couldn't tell me the first thing about QDRO's, they don't have any experience in this fairly new field, but Robert Harrian is extremely knowledgeable and thorough, in no time I was awarded half of the retirement money, then Robert skillfully worked on getting the pension plan, again in no time at all I was awarded that as well. I am so grateful to Robert and the folks at Harrian Law Firm, they have been extremely patient with me while I pay off my bill which Robert had lowered the amount from what he usually charged. Thank you again for such a smooth and positive experience. I will happily refer this law firm to anyone, I have no doubt that they would also have a positive experience as well.

Outstanding, Knowledgeable, and Professional - Highly Recommend

Robert Harrian drafted and submitted to the Court the QDRO documents for the community property retirement split post-decree for my ex-spouse and I. Mr. Harrian knew exactly what he was doing and what I was entitled to. My ex-husband had originally had the documents drafted up, and Mr. Harrian foun...d four (4) crucial mistakes that added up to an additional $10,000 that I was entitled to. Had I not hired Mr. Harrian, and had signed the documents my ex had drafted, I would have received $10,000 less than I did. Mr. Harrian communicated very effectively with me, my ex, and my ex’s attorney; and was able to get my ex to sign the documents, without needing further court intervention. On top of this, I was awarded 50% of attorney’s fees reimbursed to me for Mr. Harrian’s services. Overall, Mr. Harrian did an excellent and accurate job on the QDRO documents. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has retirement accounts to split. These documents are very technical and definitely need an expert review before you sign them.

Professional and Efficient

I am writing in response to the review posted by John stating Do Not Hire This Man. I want to say that I feel this review is completely unfair and untruthful. Mr Harrian was engaged in our case because of a financial matter regarding the split of John's 401K. He completed his responsibilities in a fa...ir and professional manner. My bill was never padded and Mr. Harrian never acted unethically in any way. This is a case of a client not wanting to pay for services rendered. I encourage anyone reading reviews regarding Mr. Harrian to disregard John's review and know that he is an excellent lawyer. I highly recommend him.
