Worst Lawyer

I don't know where to start because I can write a whole book about this individual. I was financially in a tough spot but needed legal advice and help at the precise time so I was recommended to go to Campbell university legal clinic. So I did I was placed on a waitlist which a year later my case was... received months right before my court date. I was so thankful for this especially due to my situation. I went to my first interview and started giving Richard all my case information and files on top of files. I provided this clinic so much information and evidence and all he would tell me is don't worry don't worry. I sure did think I was in good hands and he was thinking about the best interest of my child. WRONG he used me for his pro bono hours quota!!! He showed up to court with a small binder with 4 questions and a few pictures. Shameless it was a total disaster that day. I can go on with my story but all I want to make sure if you want someone to represent you correctly in this state you have to pay. It is so unfortunate what family court has become its sad because our children suffer and they don't care. Please stay away from this man and his clinic. He is also very weird at the end of your meetings he will hug you and grab on you it made me feel so uncomfortable STAY AWAY!

I'm very sorry to hear that you had a negative experience working with me. However, much of what you have outlined in this post is not accurate. I am happy to discuss your concerns and clarify the misunderstandings if you reach out to me.

Highly Recpmmended

During one of the most stressful times in our lives, my husband and I would highly recommend Richard. He handled our step-parent adoption case. He was extremely professional and was always available for any questions we had. We are both very pleased with the outcomes of the case.

A true client advocate

From our first meeting, Richard demonstrated a real concern to address my needs: from listening, providing honest feedback and insight, and negotiating for a fair outcome in my divorce. His contribution to getting me through a very difficult time cannot be overstated. I highly recommend him.

Professional, honest and meticulous

Richard handled my separation agreement and I also reached back out for him to handle my final divorce. He is personable, meticulous, honest and to the point. He communicates extremely well and always kept me updated throughout the process. The separation agreement and final divorce were priced extre...mely competitively. If unfortunately you must hire a divorce attorney, I can't recommend him enough.
