Richard R. Reed’s practice focuses on insurance subrogation, real estate litigation, commercial litigation, and representation of financial institutions. His experience includes first chair commercial litigation representation, complex civil litigation, state and federal regulatory and compliance matters, substantial trial experience in the field of collections, and legislative advocacy. Prior to forming Lippman & Reed, PLLC, Mr. Reed held the position of Director of Litigation, serving as the supervising attorney and compliance officer for a southwest regional collections firm.
Mr. Reed’s commitment to client representation extends beyond the court room, and he has been instrumental in the passage of positive legislation in the State of Arizona. In 2011, he co-created and served as the central promoter for the passage of Arizona House Bill 2412 Credit Card Agreements (amending A.R.S. §12-548 to clarify a 6 year statute of limitations for debt evidenced by a credit card). In 2012, he co-created and functioned as the primary advocate for the enactment of Arizona House Bill 2664 Credit Card Agreements (which provides, in conformity with Federal law, defined methods of establishing acceptance of credit card agreements, and liability for use of credit card accounts). Mr. Reed has testified on numerous occasions before the Arizona House and Senate Banking and Insurance Committees.
Mr. Reed has served as Legislative Committee Member of the Arizona Creditor Bar Association, and is a committee member of the State Legislative Committee to the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys. He is also a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the National Association of Subrogation Professionals, and the Pima County Bar Association.

Highly recommended
Richard Reed has handled several issues for my company, including compliance and procedural issues, bankruptcy matters, and educating our local justice of the peace on civil matters which were incorrectly ruled on. He has taken his time to explain issues we are unfamiliar with, clearly and patiently...
