I hired Richard to settle a relatively straight forward case regarding a contingency contract. He obviously didn't listen to the amount we discussed which was $19,000 if I lost at most. Not only did he lose the case due to sloppy preparation, he didn't include important information that will affect...
Ouch! This confirms the old adage: no good deed goes unpunished. I did my best not to take this case, but "Mr. anonymous" literally begged me to. He came to me on short notice with an urgent need for an opposition brief and a court appearance in a complicated and acrimonious family trust dispute that had been going on for 3 years with several different lawyers (not disclosed by the client). I worked hard on it over the Christmas holiday 2016 to do what I could, but the situation was far from as client represented, and certainly not "straightforward." Did my best for him but the judge found for client's brother. Judge made the right call. Since client was upset, I agreed to waive $4,000 of my fees to make him feel better. He called me a month later and asked me to do more legal work for him on the same case! I declined, which is why he is still upset, I guess. I worked my tail off for .50 on the dollar and still got a bad review! Should have gone with my instinct not to take the case in the first place. Instead of gratitude, I got a ruined family holiday and the only bad review I've ever received. I guess Mr. anonymous is still mad at me, because he couldn't find another lawyer willing to take him on as a client. Live and learn. In the end, I am the one who got "totally screwed."

If you're like I used to be thinking, all attorneys are gold digger; that's because you haven't been in the hands of Mr. Richard Boyer. He was actually too busy to take our case but made time to listen & offer guidance as free consultation. His analysis was a clear snap. In a few minutes he opened al...

I have used Rick twice now: once for a relatively minor situation involving an unruly landlord in Del Mar and then for a much more serious case of land fraud in Valley Center. With each situation, what amazed me the most was how Rick could listen to my rambling of an explanation as to what had hap...

I hired Mr. Boyer several years ago for a few cases, and I have yet to come across an attorney that has produced the results that he has. Do not waste your time meeting with other lawyers. He is as good as they get! Unfortunately I can't hire him for all of my legal matters, but if I could I cert...

I cant begin to tell you how grateful I am to Mr. Boyer. I placed many calls to over 8 attorneys claiming to know landlord tenant law and was sadly disappointed every-time feeling frustrated and left without answers. I was shocked what I heard come from Mr. Boyer and that was I can help you. He sent ...
