Awful!

I hired Richard to settle a relatively straight forward case regarding a contingency contract. He obviously didn't listen to the amount we discussed which was $19,000 if I lost at most. Not only did he lose the case due to sloppy preparation, he didn't include important information that will affect... my appeal. In addition, the judgement against me is for $58,000 because his negligence. Totally screwed me and then tried to bill me for additional $4000!! Avoid this attorney at all costs!

Ouch! This confirms the old adage: no good deed goes unpunished. I did my best not to take this case, but "Mr. anonymous" literally begged me to. He came to me on short notice with an urgent need for an opposition brief and a court appearance in a complicated and acrimonious family trust dispute that had been going on for 3 years with several different lawyers (not disclosed by the client). I worked hard on it over the Christmas holiday 2016 to do what I could, but the situation was far from as client represented, and certainly not "straightforward." Did my best for him but the judge found for client's brother. Judge made the right call. Since client was upset, I agreed to waive $4,000 of my fees to make him feel better. He called me a month later and asked me to do more legal work for him on the same case! I declined, which is why he is still upset, I guess. I worked my tail off for .50 on the dollar and still got a bad review! Should have gone with my instinct not to take the case in the first place. Instead of gratitude, I got a ruined family holiday and the only bad review I've ever received. I guess Mr. anonymous is still mad at me, because he couldn't find another lawyer willing to take him on as a client. Live and learn. In the end, I am the one who got "totally screwed."

An inspiring professional

If you're like I used to be thinking, all attorneys are gold digger; that's because you haven't been in the hands of Mr. Richard Boyer. He was actually too busy to take our case but made time to listen & offer guidance as free consultation. His analysis was a clear snap. In a few minutes he opened al...l doors & windows for our distressed minds. His knowledge, intelligence, empathy are a breath of fresh air in the industry. We should all help preserve & promote such valuable service because he truly makes a difference to the industry. Does it sound too good to be true? Just call & be inspired like us. It may be the most important phone call that can turn you & your family life around.

He changed my whole opinion of attorneys...

I have used Rick twice now: once for a relatively minor situation involving an unruly landlord in Del Mar and then for a much more serious case of land fraud in Valley Center. With each situation, what amazed me the most was how Rick could listen to my rambling of an explanation as to what had hap...pened and turn it into the most organized, well written, masterpiece of a letter, legal demand, etc… documenting every law the offender broke, catching subtle nuances I had completely missed myself, and written with such eloquence would just leave you amazed as you read it. I’ve never experienced anything like it. He writes like Mozart composed music. It was actually exciting just to see the letters he produced. In fact, co-workers would ask to read them they were so impressed as well… sometimes shaking their head saying, “I… LOVE how your lawyer writes!” Rick was always very mindful of my budget as well… and - never - overcharged me. He is an extremely honest and ethical attorney… was always polite and respectful… with a witty sense of humor as well. So, needless to say, Rick resolved both of my lawsuits in a very favorable way. I am bound by the terms of the settlement agreements not to disclose the details, but I can say that I am very happy with their outcome. I would highly recommend Rick to anyone in need of an outstanding attorney.

I wish I could hire him for all legal matters!

I hired Mr. Boyer several years ago for a few cases, and I have yet to come across an attorney that has produced the results that he has. Do not waste your time meeting with other lawyers. He is as good as they get! Unfortunately I can't hire him for all of my legal matters, but if I could I cert...ainly would!

Wow an attorney with class a wealth of knowledge and integrity you don't see often!!

I cant begin to tell you how grateful I am to Mr. Boyer. I placed many calls to over 8 attorneys claiming to know landlord tenant law and was sadly disappointed every-time feeling frustrated and left without answers. I was shocked what I heard come from Mr. Boyer and that was I can help you. He sent ...me after scanning and emailing me case laws to help my small claims case not asking me for a dime. I was and still am in shock that he did all the things he said he was going to do and left me feeling hopeful , grateful and optimistic of my outcome against the previous tenants for damages to our rental. After 19 years as a Professional REALTOR I can say that Richard Boyer is by far a step above the rest and no amount of words can tell you how grateful we are to you for this valuable information. You are a cut above the rest. Thanks!
