Although the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct restrict me from discussing most of the factors regarding your case, I would like to point out that you and I spoke various times about the seriousness of your case and the possible consequences on your license and job prior to your court date. I have handled hundreds of traffic tickets and criminal cases and while the majority of these cases result in dismissals and reductions, the actions alleged in your Hit and Run case unfortunately only warranted the court to accept a reduction of the charges. As discussed, Hit and Run violations are typically fatal for any commercial driving career. The actions alleged in your specific Hit and Run case were much more egregious than a typical Hit and Run case. I do apologize that we could not get a complete dismissal of all of your charges but I would be more than willing to offer my assistance on how to withdraw your plea free of charge. We reviewed the State's evidence for your case with you and spoke with several other Defense Attorney's to try to get the best possible results in this very special type of case. It is certainly not my goal to leave any of my clients dissatisfied.
