Biography
As a Criminal Defense and Personal Injury lawyer, Renee Mathias passionately defends her clients’ freedom and liberties. Following a five-day jury trial in 2014, Mathias helped to win her client a not guilty verdict and avoid 13 years mandatory time. During a four-day Federal Jury Trial, Mathias garnered a not guilty judgement for a client charged with conspiracy.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Renee earned her undergraduate degree from Creighton University and her Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law. She holds membership in the Nebraska Bar Association, the Iowa Bar Association, the Omaha Bar Association, and is also a National Association of Criminal Defense Attorney.
The daughter of a Korean War Veteran, Mathias chose to join Berry Law due to the firm’s commitment to Veterans, vision for the future, and involvement in the community. She is a passionate proponent of The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and volunteers for the organization.
