i'm from Macon, Ga and i hired Mr REGAN KEEBAUGH to help me with my unemployment appeal. Mr REGAN answered all my questions and consistently stayed in touch with me throughout the process. i was nervous i wouldn't win appeal because i was suspended from work indefinitely and that some people told me ...i was not gonna get unemployment because i'm not fired. well i won the appeal because Mr REGAN questioned the employer representative and my attorney knew how to cross examine evidence which they didn't have and asked if they we're witnesses to the alleged misconduct, it was proven as hearsay talk with no proof and it was hands down a winning case for me. I went to attorneys office from Macon,Ga to Decatur,Ga for phone interview conference call with Unemployment judge and employer on Thursday and and i got my appeal decision on Saturday which meant the Unemployment judge made a decision and sent notice out the same day. It took almost 2 months to get UI benefits but i received backpay for all the weeks i was claiming even when i was initially denied. Attorney has reasonable charge for service and he is currently helping me on other claims as well. Not a big time lawyer or firm but they are headed to stardom in the near future as super lawyers. I am still without my job because they saying i am still suspended from work and and its been 3 months since i last worked for company. I am glad i can receive benefits from unemployment because bills are still coming in and i m still without a job. i liked how my attorney handled the entire process and treated me like a person and not like a case. very professional and persistent and stayed in contact with me and also helped file necessary appeal paperwork to fight for my rights and get me approved for unemployment benefits. I really don't think i would of won this case by myself even though the appeal mainly was about me and the employer being questioned about the reason why i was suspended and what evidence was submitted to show cause. Having a lawyer is what helped me from losing and also knowing how to answer questions that i would of easily answered wrong and could of put my only chance to win this case at jeopardy.
