Raquel was helping us to refile our E2 application in Toronto Canada in 2024 / 2025. She was a US immigration lawyer working for MVS ( My Visa Source) . MVS is an immigration company in Canada considered by many people to be scammers because of the way they do business. Our experience with Raquel wa...
This client hired My Visa Source prior to my relationship as an independent contractor for the firm. This client’s visa application was complex and due to firm’s prior attorney’s handling of the case, I was asked to take over the case and assuage the client’s complaints. We collaborated on a new agreed upon strategy. There was delay in obtaining updated documentation from the client and the firm lacked support in order to provide services to clients, which led to a long backlog in the firm’s case preparation. Eventually, I terminated my independent contractor agreement with MVS. The firm should have reassigned the case to their new attorneys. I left the case file with very specific case strategy notes that could be easily followed by the next attorney. It has been almost a year since my separation from MVS. I have no access to the status of the case or any result after my departure. Any concerns regarding the case should be address directly with MVS and the attorneys handling the case.
