Freedom isn't free...but it was well worth the price!

a total bulldog! outside of Court he can be a little hard to read - the first time we met i see this guy with earrings and arms covered in tattoos and figured "he's got to be good to pull this off!". He sat with me for 31/2 hours, no charge, discussing my (drug trafficking) case, his experience and... addressing my concerns. I asked him to explain everything to my wife so he spent another 30 minutes on the phone with her. when i got home we agreed Rand was the guy for me. His fee was high, but very reasonable and allowed payments. In fact, he closed the case before i even finished paying! We went to Court about 5 times with the first offer being a prison sentence of 15+ years and a $250k fine... the morning of our motion hearing the offer was 5 years on probation. We discussed the pros and cons of the offer and the likelihood of outright success - he wouldn't promise or guarantee anything except he was "ready" and had caselaw to support our position for suppression. I rejected the offer and as i watched him in Court, i was totally transfixed. The earrings were gone, tats were covered and he looked like any other attorney as he crucified the detectives and addressed the Court as if he was pleading for his own freedom. After he sat down he looked at me and said, "we won" with a smirk on his and started packing his bag even though the prosecutor was still talking. about 3 minutes in the prosecutor's argument the Court stopped him and said, "you can sit down now" and complimented Rand on his argument and suppressed all of the evidence. 30 days later, after the State didn't appeal, he called to tell me "case dismissed. you've got a 2nd chance at life not to be a f*** up... don't blow it"! He's the only person to ever speak to me like that but i knew how he meant it. even though we've paid him off he still checks in on me at least once a month - he even knocked off some of the fee if i got my GED (which i did) and wrote a letter on my behalf for entry to a 2 year college. Some attorneys say they care - this one showed it. He's the best!!!!

Rand Jason Csehy Review

Rand was a very professional attorney who was recommended to me by a friend who is also and attorney. Rand was very relaxed and easy going, and made a very uncomfortable, and unpleasant situation, very comforting. No one wants to be in the situation that I was in. I had never been in trouble befor...e in my life when I got pulled over for an uncharacteristic incident involving drinking and driving. I, of course, was very upset, nervous, angry at myself, and pretty much in a state of panic. Rand was very calm, and very professionally laid out the the facts for me. He calmed me down, telling me that it would be alright, and things like this happen. He agreed that I messed up, but that it wasn't the end of the world. I felt more relaxed almost instantly, and all this was just from the first conversation. I met him the next day at the court house giving him my description, and although I was early, he was still there waiting for me with a smile. At this point Rand and I talked about the process in person, and I felt almost immediately like we had been friends for a long time. Not what I was expecting for my first experience with an attorney. Not only did Rand do everything he had to do in preparation and all the paperwork involved afterward, but he also kept in contact with me to make sure I was doing everything I had to do, and made recommendations on where to go to do everything I had to do. He also let me know that there were certain things I was going to have to do regardless of the verdict, so he suggested I do these things before we went to court to prove how sorry I really was. He went above and beyond what my other friends attorneys have done in similar situations, and he did NOT overcharge me. He made sure that I was getting a fair deal and that I wasn't just paying for a name. I got what I paid for and nothing more. I would recommend Rand to anyone I know including friends, family, and acquaintences, and in fact, I have. I have never heard anything bad, or any regrets from my friends. All have had glowing reviews and thanked me for recommending him. He is a very down to earth and easy going person, but is very professional in his demeanor and presence in court. He treats you like a friend and not a client. I thank him for making a very bad situation in my eyes, and making it almost an easy situation. I also recommend Rand to my friends for situations outside of his expertise, as I know that he will set them up with the right attorney for their needs. I have the utmost trust and belief in Rand. In fact, I still stay in contact with him today. Justin
