Real attorney!

Ramon was an amazing pro bono criminal defense attorney! When I was sitting in jail... I believe I told someone within the jail that "I needed A REAL ATTORNEY!". I refused to meet with anyone else. LOL, I think the first thing he said to me when we first met during a jail visit..."I'm a real attor...ney." We won! I don't consider myself an easy client. Every time I needed to talk to him (multiple times, with intense anxiety) he was able to and/or made time to hear what I had to say. I appreciate him very much and always will.

Loss of trust in Oregon lawyers....

This lawyer used several thousand dollars to do research on my case even before we ultimately knew what the charges were! Is this normal practice amongst Oregon lawyers? I ended up firing this lawyer and he had me sign a document that at the time I was in no mental condition to understand! (Diagnosed... PTSD in 2012) Is this common Oregon law practice to talk advantage of people's situations?

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
