Recently, my elderly parents from North Dakota began declining in health and needed to reach out to the family for additional support. They moved in with me and it quickly became apparent that I would need to have the power to help them pay bills, write checks, and complete their taxes. In addition ...to this, I was busy trying to establish continued care and having access to their medical information was critical. I reached out to my network of friends and was given Rachel Schromen’s contact information. I was informed that she would be attentive to all my family’s needs and not focused on high-pressure marketing to sell us on her services. My initial call to Rachel illustrated that what I was told was accurate. She spent time asking questions, engaging with us and our family’s situation. In fact, my parents were celebrating their 60th anniversary, and Rachel surprised us all with a call on the actual day to congratulate them. My parents have mobility issues and Rachel graciously offered to travel to our home to meet with them. In addition, Rachel offered to review their will and health care directive paperwork to ensure that all their documents were in order. She continually provided us with options throughout the process including trusted resources that may be needed as their needs progress. To save on cost she emailed me a questioner to fill out and send back to her once we completed it. Once the legal paperwork was completed, she called me to set-up a time that was convenient for us; which ended up being on a Saturday. Prior to Rachel’s arrival, we were wondering what the final bill was going to be with such superior service. As promised, we were billed the amount that Rachel quoted us initially. Overall, I am very pleased with Rachel’s excellent services and support.
