It is difficult to address the comments by this reviewer as there is not sufficient information contained in it to even tell if "James" was an actual client. As a court appointed attorney, I expected the majority of my clients to have little or no money and they were often times homeless and addicted to drugs. Over the years I have represented thousands of clients achieving positive results in hundreds of cases. As a court appointed counsel, there is a process whereby clients may petition the court for different counsel. During my nine years as court appointed counsel, I was never replaced by the court because of any misconduct on my part, nor have I been disciplined by the State Bar of California. If "James" had a legitimate issue with me, he could have addressed it through a number of channels; however, he chose to write a negative review on an anonymous web site. One that does not allow a person to identify the rater even enough to determine if the person is or was an actual client.
