He is respectable in the courtroom because he follows the rules and performs respectfully and admirably. I have only se...en him at trial with other cases(and on the Nancy Grace show), but I have hired him recently for felony charges. I am so happy he took my case because the last attorney believed I was guilty based on the police report. Additionally, I called this other attorney (prior to speaking with Odom) who I thought might be a good idea... I called and it sounded like a bartender answering for the attorney--loud background noise and laughter. After I gave him the list of charges he got real excited because its a very expensive case. He got the attorney on the phone immediately and before hearing the story or seeing the police report he told me he can get these charges removed from my record. Odom is the stark opposite. He is honest and trustworthy. He is what I would strive to be as an attorney-- providing legal representation to the best of my ability despite the rat race of money-grubbing,"collegial" law sharks. I came to this attorney with a simple battery issue. He was very good in explaining to me why I needed a lawyer and that it was a serious matter. He quoted me for his services and told me it was an earned when paid deal and a flat fee. I wanted to do some more research and wasn't a 100% sure about t...his attorney so I asked if I can make the payment the following Monday or was he going to start working on this immediately and I needed to pay on that Friday. He said he was going to do a few things first thing Monday and that I needed to get on this immediately. I made the payment and hired him. Monday morning I didn't hear from him. He had not done what he promised "first thing monday". When I called him he was at trial and told me he told me he couldn't work on my case all week! My hearing was that following Friday. He told me he was able to work on my case on Thursday evening. I felt extremely uncomfortable and even thought I paid him $3000 for his services I told him I was going to seek other representation and he had not done what he said he would do and failed to tell me that he would be working on my case the evening before my hearing. He simply didn't care and my file looked untouched when I got it back even thought he claimed he had been reviewing it all week. He did absolutely nothing for me and took 3 days to even file an appearance in court. He refused to give me any money back even though I didn't even use his services and he didn't come to the hearing. He is a celebrity on TV, one would think he had enough money so that he can be honorable with his clients but no. This guy is someone you should stay away from.
