Paul B Ahern

Paul B. Ahern is a crimnal defense lawyer based in Minnetonka, who practices thoughout the State of Minnesota.  His practice is exclusively in the area of criminal and DWI defense and has been since 1992.  Prior to that time he served as a County prosecutor in Benton County and City Prosecutor for Shorewood and Tonka Bay in the Lake Minnetonka area.   Paul Ahern has spoken at the Minnesota Criminal Justice Institute, and other seminars on the subject of criminal defense.  He has served as the Chairman of the annual DWI Defense Seminar for the Minnesota Society for Criminal Justice for seven years (passing the job to someone else after the 2017 Seminar).   He has been trained on the Datamaster Breath Machine and on Field Sobriety Testing.  He does the time consuming "dirty work" other lawyers often do not do: interviewing you personally (not having a legal assistant do it), watching the police videos and listening to audio recordings, reviewing forensic evidence and quality control evidence from the lab, legal research, writing briefs, evidentiary hearings and trials . . .  Put his experience to work for you.
