Patrick Camilo Custodia Fernandez

I hired Mr. Fernandez through the firm Wallin & Klarich in August 2015 to defend me in a criminal case. During the preliminary hearing, Mr. Fernandez allowed the prosecutor to stand up in court and tell the judge a lot of lies about what she thought my case was about, while he sat there twiddling his... thumbs and said nothing to object. After court, I asked Mr. Fernandez why he allowed that to happen, and he made some excuse about it not mattering if she couldn’t prove what she had said. annoyed, I told him that the judge couldn’t inhear it. Later that afternoon, I received an email from Mr Fernandez, asking me to call their main office and speak to senior partner, Stephen Klarich, which I did and was told that they were taking Mr. Fernandez off of my case and putting a more seasoned senior associate on it. I never saw of heard from Mr. Fernandez again. Two months into my case, the attorney that replaced Mr. Fernandez told me that Mr. Fernandez had actually given his notice and quit the firm. I asked how they could withhold that information from me, and the story changed to Mr. Fernandez giving his notice before I hired him. The next question was hi Wallin & Klarich could allow me to hire an attorney who had quit his job and not tell me. Either way, before or after, that pertinent information was withheld from me and Mr. Fernsndez’s failure to tell me was not only unethical and immoral, it adversely affected my case. This attorney is a coward and I do not recommend hiring him

I got a speeding ticket that wasn't fair and true. I contacted his firm and Patrick was great since the beginning, explained me the process and kept me informed about the progress of my case. I want to say it was a great choice to have Patrick Fernandez as my attorney. He helped me first by calming me down concerning my situation, and never let up to find answers to my questions. Mr Fernandez made an upfront courtesy contact after reviewing my son's case and was very prepared and knowledgeable about the case and kept me informed throughout the process, very personable with insight related to future actions is the laws change.
