I have a particular love for juvenile law - delinquency, youthful offender, abuse & neglect, truancy and unmanagable children. I like helping real people solve real problems in their lives, and helping people plan for the future. I enjoy helping people clean up old criminal convictions and deal with administrative proceedings. I do estate planning, probate of estates and guardianships, among other things. I have been practicing law for over 40 years!  If you have a legal problem, I'll try to connect you with the right attorney to solve the problem, even if it isn't me.

I was a licensed foster parent for more than 20 years, welcoming primarily teenaged girls in my home.  My husband and I have two biological adult children and two biological grandchildren (so far).  We consider our adult foster children and their children to be family as well.  Outside of the law, I enjoy playing the flute in Bristol Band and Middlebury Wind Ensemble, swimming, canoeing, hiking (no longer up steep mountain summits), bicycling, gardening,quilting, crocheting, and cooking! Also, we have 6 English Setters, all rescues!
