No stars. Let’s talk harassment. Not hired nor consulted. The website is requiring me to choose. I will choose consulted as ther

On August 7th I had a personal/private court proceeding. Ms. Bishop took it upon herself to show up at said court hearing along with my ex-husband when there was no involvement with him. Both she and my ex-husband (David York) caused a disruption wherein my father (in his late 70’s and with heart pro...blems) asked the officers and the judge to not let them into the courtroom as it was clearly harassment directed at me. The judge had no choice but to honor the fact that it was a public hearing, however, I have to question Ms. Bishop’s intentions. She (nor my ex-husband who is also an attorney) needed to be there. Clearly they were to harass both me and my family. When you take an oath to uphold the law does it entitle you to harass and intimidate law-abiding citizens such as myself? She should not have been there at my personal court hearing and she along with my ex-husband (David York) are a disgrace to the legal system.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
