Amber L. Masters

Amber Masters is a founding partner of The Contracts Counselor, where she focuses on contract drafting, review, and negotiation. 

Amber received her Bachelor's of Science in Sociology, where she studied recidivism among prisoners participating in substance abuse treatment programs, and was published in The Prison Journal. After graduation, she and her husband taught English in China and traveled through Asia. Amber graduated cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. During law school, Amber served as a member of the student bar association, competed in Moot Court, and worked as a research assistant, studying environmental laws in Kampala, Uganda. She also served on the Utah Bar Association’s Litigation board.

Amber serves on the board for Starfish Orphanage, a foster care home to abandoned children in western China. Amber enjoys competing in marathons, road biking, photography, traveling, and spending time with her family and is an active member of her church. 

Prior to founding The Contracts Counselor, Amber worked as an associate at Dunlap, Bennett, and Ludwig and served as a judicial law clerk in the Fourth District Court of Utah with the Honorable Judges Christine Johnson and Thomas Low, working in a wide variety of both civil and criminal matters. Amber currently serves as an Assistant Attorney General.
