I hired her to fight my speeding ticket. After trial, she told me they found me guilty but she had the fine lowered and the points on the ticket will not count on my license because they are too old. She lied because she did not have my fine lowered. The fine I was charged was the same fine listed ...on the DMV website if I were to change my plea to guilty the night before the hearing. Once I brought this to her attention she had the audacity to tell me "No, you just didn't get a higher fine which could have happened as well." That's a complete lie by the way. The judge either finds you guilty or not guilty on a speeding ticket 11-20 over speed limit. In addition, when I first showed her the ticket, she did not mention anything about the points not being valid on the license still even if proven guilty because she was just looking for some extra money. She is unprofessional and uninformative. Only thing she did was charge me an extra $250 not to show my face in the court room. Word of advice - change the plea to guilty online and just pay little fee instead of wasting money for her services, find a different lawyer, or fight the ticket yourself.
