Jennifer Saffer & her small firm JL SAFFER,PC, are the only litigators and appellate lawyers I'd use again--we've used Saffer multiple times and have always been impressed by how she runs a case. She is as good or better litigator than any I've ever dealt with at the "top" big firms; and is a great ...appells lawyer too. My profession involves the regular need for litigation involving complex transactions gone bad, complex structured finance products, as well as creditors rights litigation. We've used any number of pricey, well know lawyers at the big firms. Saffer is as good if not better than any of them; and about half the price. She and her (relatively) very small team have often got us results better, faster & more cost effective by far. When we've used Saffer for an appeal, we've been floored by the quality of the work and she's a fantastic appeals lawyer. Saffer doesn't bother with the time consuming costly bureaucratic nonsense that so many others do. In my book, she's a litigator's litigator. Saffer's focus is always on the law & matter at hand: She practices law; she's not in the business of law. She quickly gets her head around diverse and complex issues, isn't afraid of taking calculated risks when that's the best course, and has pushed us to settle matters when she believes that's in our best interest. When it comes to a trial or an appeal, Saffer holds her own w/--and often pummels--the "big guys". She's truly "got game". JLSAFFER's fee structure is about half of what we used to pay the "top" firms; and we've always found her bills fair. Saffer & her team are talented, experienced, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. She & her team at JLSAFFER get the job done--she's "pulled a rabbit out of the hat" for us more than once. She's become our "go to" lawyer for any litigation or appeal . Saffer is out of the top draw. Since the first matter she handled for us I can't conceive of using the giant inefficient over-priced brand name big firms--or any one but Saffer--for our litigation, creditors rights/distressed debt and appeal needs. Bottom line: If you have a complex commercial litigation/appeal/creditors rights needs, and want the best (and don't want padded bills, wasted time, conflict issues and assorted bs) Jennifer Saffer is the answer.
