I hired buividas to take on my 2nd dui case. Big mistake, big, huge! The price was average $3500. I could not afford the entire cost so I made a payment upfront. I decided a payment plan was in my best interest. Wrong! Receptionist was calling several times a day (counted 7x's in one day), completely... filling my voicemail. My court dates were post poned several times and I was never notified until after taking the day off from work to show up at the courthouse where THEY told me. Speaking to him was a nightmare in itself trying to reach him. When I did reach him, he was unaware of my next court date. I had to call the courthouse directly or get a notice in the mail to confirm my next court date. To top it all off, he was not able to help me with my case. I had the book thrown at me. Needless to say I am $3500 down, lost my license for 2 yrs, have 280 hrs of community service, required to participate in idrc classes on top of Iop and serving a 2yr probation sentence. At my final court date he told me I could appeal the interlock device. I called his office to take him up on the appeal and he told me for an additional $3500 he would appeal it but not very likely to win. Also on my final court date, when I was in fear of losing my license he turned to me with "Well you shouldn't be driving under the influence." Really? I had no idea. Thanks for the advice. On top of all this, he was late to 3 of my court dates. On one of my court dates he notified the court he was running late, 3 hrs and 25 min later he cancelled due to a stomach ailement. From the beginning he made all sorts of empty promises. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.

An insurance claim is frustration multiplied by time. Mr. Buividas walked us thru process and drove home the point concerning the length of time it takes to go through the legal system. He was prompt, within reason, to get back to us with our concerns and gave explanations for the topics we raised. W...hile waiting in his office we were able to talk to other clients using his services, and as you can imagine, we asked how do they feel they were being treated by Mr. Buividas. the remarks ranged from encouraged to the process takes to long. However, the general consensuses was he was doing a good job on their case. We won our case and he even reduced his fee. I would highly recommend him as a competent Attorney.

On an incident of property damage in excess of $70,000.00 July 2103, Plaintiff hired Atty in 2013 to handle a slam dunk matter. Matter has langished many times due to his other interests, now in litigation for the third year. Atty is a very nice man, who may be able to handle very minor matters o...f traffic court, etc, but when it comes to the middle or the big leagues, he simply does not have the resources and perhaps the ability to win. This is a one man operation. Atty knows people, but has not been effective when by comparison the end result is incrediable lapse in timing to court schedules, poor choice of wording in court documents, and several times difficult in speaking before a Judge. Three motions have come before the court. Each motion is lost to the detriment of the Plaintiff either by the attorney failing to meet a court deadline, failing to adequitly word the document to obtain a favorable ruling, or simply being placed against the defense attorney of superior ability. As the client, the result is lost income, a possibility of losing real estate due to the incrediable length of justice being delayed, lost sleep, and lost peace of mind, This client has contacted other attornies to handle the matter for a win, but other attornies won't take over the case because it has become so screwed up. This client is very dissappointed by the lack of reasonable expectations in conducting this civil lawsuit. Atty does not return phone calls nor does he make calls to this cleint. 93 days passed from the time a request was made for a phone conversation. Several shorter but similiar periods have passed over the last 2 years from the time one conversation occured to another.
