Sarah O'Connor

In 2010, I engaged the services of Sarah as my lawyer. Unfortunately, in 2011, I went through a divorce, but the financial settlement remained unresolved. Initially Sarah was not only a skilled lawyer but also a trusted friend. However, in 2019 she inexplicably cut off all communication with me regar...ding my case. Despite numerous attempts to reach out via calls and emails, she remained unresponsive and failed to provide any explanation for her sudden disappearance. This lack of professionalism and accountability forced me to seek a new lawyer to handle my case. Regrettably, Sarah’s unresponsiveness extended to the new legal representation I had secured as she refused to cooperate or transfer any necessary paperwork. As a result, I incurred additional expenses and waste valuable time having to reiterate details and provide documentation that should have been readily available To my dismay, feedback from friends and family members who I had recommended Sarah to echoed similar experience to her neglecting follow ups and failed to fulfill obligations. While I initially dismissed these accounts. Sarah actions towards me shattered any remaining trust or confidence I had in her abilities. Her disregard for professional courtesy and basic communication left me feeling deeply hurt and questioning my judgement in ever entrusting her with my case. Despite my persistent efforts to seek clarification and closure by reaching out to Sarah, my inquiries were met with continued silence. This complete lack of respect and accountability further solidified my decision to server all ties with Sarah O’Connor and to caution others against entrusting her with legal matters I am simply sad and disappointed in Sarah behavior as a human being

While I was searching for a new lawyer I interviewed Sarah who was referred to me by a friend. She was generous with her time and answered all of my questions without judgement. When it came time to choose, Sarah was my first choice, I did see this review online but my gut told me that she was genu...ine. Divorce is full of tough choices and bumps in the road, Sarah was there to ease all of them. Even when her recommendation was different than my choice, she kindly told me why she disagreed, and knowing I understood her reasoning she fully supported my choice to go against her opinion (which from experience with other lawyers is so rare and such a blessing to have found!!). She had my best interest, including my bank account, in mind during the entire process. She was mindful of my costs and did what she could to keep them down and did so successfully. Her empathy was genuine, when I had something to celebrate she did as well, when I hit bumps, she shared my frustrations. I couldn't have asked for a better situation and a better end result. Sarah far exceeded my expectations.

Sarah is lazy & non- responsive ... but worst of all unethical !!! In summary, I signed/paid her $ 3500 for a Retainer to answer a Motion. She in turn blatantly denied receipt of it. Not only did she completely neglect to answer the Motion she was retained for, but she then presented me with an I...nvoice for UNAUTHORIZED fees. The invoice totaled $1614.00 (which was debited from my $3500 account balance). She insisted if I wanted representation from her I would need to pay to bring my trust account Balance to $3500.... Horrifying to say the least !! Needless to say I had to find a new attorney. There is a history of unethical conduct associated with her firm ! You can easily look it up.
