If I could give less than 1 star, I would. My experience with Marty Brodsky was a nightmare, and I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for attorney representation. He was impossible to get a hold of - often taking multiple emails and phone calls just to get his attention. At one point, in a crucial pe...riod of our real-estate deal, he went unresponsive for five days and said later he was out of town for his *birthday.* When I did manage to reach him, he was often unfamiliar with the specifics of my transaction, rude, dismissive, or a lovely combination of the three. On top of that, he showed up 25 minutes late to our closing. His lack of professionalism (to put it kindly) caused me so much unnecessary stress. I don't even understand how this man still has his license to practice, quite frankly. Stay away at all costs.

I worked with Martin Brodsky for a closing in Bergen County NJ in fall 2023. Not only was he condescending from the moment we met, but I needed to constantly follow-up with him - I would email him at the beginning of the day, only to get an answer very late at night, often times demanding answers AS...AP (excuse me, I emailed you first thing this morning, now you need an urgent response at 11pm?? I don't think so). His receptionist or paralegal, or whatever position she holds is also unresponsive. Often times I had to look at whatever documents she was sending me because 9 out of 10 times, there was an error, or an erroneous dollar amount. I was anxious to get the deal closed because I felt like he never had my best interest in mind and was mostly worried about the simplicity of the contract and adding all these clauses that he recommended, so that the process would be "quicker." I would not recommend him as a lawyer, the only reason I used him was because my agent recommended him! Run!

Being on the closing side representing sellers in transactions, and in the business for more than 30 years, this has to be the worst office I have ever dealt with. Lack of communication is an understatement. They don't return calls, answer emails etc. Very frustrating and very unprofessional offic...e.

No joke he is absolutely incompetent as stated below. Steer clear. I’ve worked with a lot of lawyers on various purchases as well as other issues outside of real estate. Brodsky officially takes the role as the worst lawyer I have met. If you care about your money abs what you’re paying for, find som...eone else.
