Not recommended

Very personable and therefore appears to be quite trustworthy (initially). Promises you the world but does not deliver. Poor communication between attorney and client. Found out after the fact that meetings were held with opposing counsel and I was never informed about the meetings or the outcome. ... Mr. Sobel lied and told me that opposing counsel was cancelling a meeting and I later found out that it was my own attorney that was cancelling. I should have listened to my instincts and fired him after a few months. Pawned off onto three separate associates so i am not so sure how much work Sobel did for my case. Because of this, he was totally unprepared for court and knew it. Pressured into settling for something that was not in my best interest. Tried to explain to Sobel why it wasn't a fair settlement but then I realized that I didn't have an advocate in my own corner. I really don't have one positive comment about the representation that I received. The only person who did well in this case was Mr. Sobel and his firm.
