Unfortunately, this review is incorrect. This case was handled by another attorney and I appeared for the hearing on a per diem basis. Your attorney was Teresa Napolitano. I had nothing to do with the preparation of your removal case. You did subsequently hire me to do consular processing with a waiver, however, after all the applications were done, your wife informed me that she was indeed separated from you, that she finally had peace in her life, that she wasn’t going to lie and that she was not going to proceed with the petition. You have been sent your file in its entirety, including the receipt for the application that was filed on your behalf before your wife contacted me to say she did not wish to proceed. As petitioner, your wife is the client. Without a spousal petition, in your case, you are out of options for consular processing and furthermore, you do not have a qualifying relative for the waiver. While your situation is unfortunate, you mustn’t confuse one thing for another. Your removal case was not my case, so what resulted in your removal has nothing to do with me. I did appear at a hearing with you on behalf of Teresa Napolitano, at which point the immigration judge denied your application and offered you voluntary departure (administrative closure was not available at this time under the Trump administration). When you subsequently did hire me, I reviewed your case, I spoke with your wife and step daughter, I prepared petitions and months later, your wife said she did not wish to proceed, at that point I could not proceed with the case. Lastly, for the work that was done I received $1,900.00 from you. Perhaps you paid Ms. Napolitano $4,000.00, but I never received this amount from you. I pride myself in service to my clients and have worked very hard to build my reputation. This is attested to by all my other client reviews.
