In my opinion Jeff Baumel is a very weak business lawyer. Some business associates suggested that I use him, so I did. It proved to be a very costly mistake. He was slow to return calls and didn't action requested items such as a simple ‘Letter of Agreement’. He hardly gave advice proactively, if... at all (something important for this type of work). In my experience his execution of projects lacks attention to detail. One other important point to note – if your company is partially funded by VCs, Jeff ONLY has eyes for them to the detriment of you, other classes of shareholders and the company. I’ve worked with many different business lawyers over three decades; unfortunately Jeff is probably at the bottom of the pile. There are many better choices out there – I’d encourage you to use them
