Horrible Experience

Beverly was recommended by my realtor when I was purchasing a home. During our initial call she was very helpful, knowledgeable and warm so I decided to move forward with her. Although her knowledge and expertise are impressive her lack of communication skills and inability to acknowledge when she ...has made an error made my home buying much more difficult and stressful than it needed to be. She regularly misspelled email addresses causing myself, my agent and the sellers agent to constantly be left out of important communications. At one point I contacted her several times via email to get an update on the status of the negotiations with no response. When I was finally able to get her on the phone she nastily told me that I need to check my emails regularly because she sent an update the previous night. When I informed her that I had not received an email and asked her which email address she sent it to we discovered she typed mine incorrectly, she then proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and that's the same email she's used to contact me all along yet couldn't explain why I had gotten other messages and not that one. She was never in her office on days we agreed to meet, she was unresponsive via email and only slightly more accessible on the phone. Her level of service did not improve until the deal started falling apart, partially due to the fact that the sellers agent had been left out of several important communications due to her spelling errors. Working with her made what was supposed to be an exciting time nothing but stressful and frustrating.

updated on 08/30/2013

Suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

Reprimanded issued in NJ, 1999
