Biography
I have been a Winston Salem native my entire life. My family, since the late 1800's, has lived in Winston, or on the outskirts of Winston, with no intention of leaving. I am a first generation college graduate, and first generation attorney. I graduated summa cum laude from Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. While at Appalachian State, I enjoyed fly fishing and I still enjoy watching the Mountaineers play football. After graduating from Appalachian State, I went to law school at Elon University School of Law where I graduated magna cum laude. During law school, I was a Moot Court Board Member, having competed in the annual American Bar Association (“ABA”) Moot Court Competition. After passing the BAR exam, I spent a year working for an international law firm, where I focused on Mass Tort litigation. In that role, I had the calling to come back and offer my services to all businesses and individuals within the Triad.
My current practice includes civil litigation, business litigation, fiduciary litigation, and real property litigation.
