If I could leave zero stars I would. I met her in 2010 at the Patterson Illinois location...and she agreed to do a divorce for me for $850.00. I paid her $350 then $500. She was very unprofessional calling my husband a 'no good n**** and a mutha*****. I should've known by her unprofessionalism to tak...e heed. But his character wasn't the best so I didn't say anything. She never gave me any receipts for either of my payments. And then she decides to move her office way to Chicago and leave the Matteson Illinois location. She kept asking me to come down sign papers and more papers. Like what was taking so long. So...l missed an appointment and my husband missed a couple and she has her receptionist call me and she says she isn't going to do my divorce because we kept missing appointments. And she is moving back to North Carolina. Then she goes to tell me that, We are just gonna call it even. Since I wasted her time and she normally charges more for a divorce she wasn't gonna give me any of my funds back. Which I thought was very unprofessional. How are you just gonna keep my $850.00? And l had no receipts proving I paid her. She knew I had just lost my job and if I could take her to small claims court I would. But I have waited to long.

Attorney Jones is pure litigator awesomenessness. She fought long and hard against my ex-husband. She out-worked and out-witted my husband’s attorney and was able to show that everything I alleged about him was true. Her questions to him on the witness stand—frustrated him to the point that the Co...urt was able to see he had anger management issues. She was able to show that he was hiding and wasting money the entire marriage. Despite his denial, the Court sided with us when they ruled that he had stepped outside the marriage. In the end, he was made to pay way beyond the amount Attorney Jones offered for him to settle at. If you need a fighter, Attorney Jones i who you should place on Retainer.

I have read a prior review of Atty. Jones on this site and felt it necessary to give a balanced viewed. My experience was wonderful. Atty. Jones is a passionate, considerate in your face, tough love attorney. She cared for the best interest of my children as I went through divorce litigation years ag...o. My ex-husband was so impressed with her sense of fairness that he later contacted her for representation in unrelated matters. She attempted to strive to make our family whole despite our disagreeable circumstances. She was a knowledgeable and clearly knows her way around a courtroom. She was greeted with admiration and respect just while we walked through the building and streets. I will always hold her in high regard and thank her for the happiness that my family now enjoys.
