Natalya Petrivna Maze

I recently hired Natalya Maze to help me resolve a dispute with my contractor. Trying to negotiate a favorable outcome on my own was impossible given that my contractor would not engage in a meaningful dialog. Prior to hiring Natalya, I had spent months trying to get them to adjust a bill that had it...ems on it that they did not complete to spec. Once Natalya was involved, things were resolved swiftly and favorably. Having someone who knows this type of law and what is and is not possible was beyond helpful. Natalya was always quick to respond and very realistic in terms of what my expectations should be. She took on the role of a mediator in order to resolve things quickly and without needing to go to court - something I very much appreciated in the long run. I spoke with several other attorneys before hiring Natalya, and the others seemed incompetent or unfamiliar with construction law. I lucked out with Natalya.

My wife and I hired Natalya to help us with a contractor that stopped working and took our money. She had a deep expertise in this matter as she has worked to defend both contractors and home owners before. It was a tough process but she recovered a substantial sum of money for us. She was easy to... work with and very down to earth. Other lawyers that we hired or consulted were arrogant and talked down to us. She was extremely patience, explained everything in easy terms, and made you feel like she was our neighbor. We were not her biggest clients by any mean but she never made us feel like a small client so we would recommend her to anyone.

Natalya Maze consulted me a small dispute with a couple neighbors that were trying to incorporate their water damage repairs into the maintenance restoration cost of entire town-complex and have everyone pay for their repairs. She very promptly and efficiently reviewed CC&R agreement and provided a ...write-up that concluded legal obligation of the townhome owners and their responsibilities.

My wife and I had a really great experience with Natalya. Three days after we signed a contract to buy a house, the seller's real estate agent got in touch with us and claimed that she had totally misread a competing offer, and wanted a lot more money from us. (On the order of tens of thousands.) ...When our own agent looked into it, he realized that due to another mistake on the part of the seller's agent, our entire contract was actually invalid, and we couldn't hold the sellers to the agreed-upon price. Since we found this out at about 5pm on a Friday night, we were pretty desperate - especially because the sellers were insisting on a quick close. We immediately started calling lawyers, and Natalya was the first one we were actually able to talk to. Even though it was a Friday night and she had weekend plans, she agreed to look over everything, and got back to us the next morning after carefully looking over all the documents. Sadly the info we'd been given originally was correct, and we were not actually under contract with the sellers, but it made us feel WAY better to know that someone who was on *our* side had looked over everything and could confirm what the real estate agents were saying. After that, she negotiated with the agents on our behalf, and was able to get the sellers to slightly reduce the price in recompense for the mistake - so even though we ended up having to pay the higher price, her help made it hurt a lot less. Natalya kept working with us until closing day, and read over the new contracts, and all of our mortgage paperwork, to make sure no further mistakes happened - and everything went very smoothly after that! She was really fantastic - she is really nice, and was great about listening to every last question we had for her, and in turn, very carefully explaining every last thing to the two of us. We were left feeling really confident that we'd dotted every I and crossed every T, and that she'd done everything possible to get us a better deal. You definitely won't go wrong with Natalya - we highly recommend her!
