Whenever possible, I try to reach an agreement with the other side. I believe parents are in the best position to set the custody schedule rather than leaving those details up to a judge. I draft many Custody Agreements or Stipulations which become Court Orders. This spares everyone the time and money of going to court. Not to mention the stress on the children. However, sometimes it is simply necessary to litigate the case. I have done this more times than I can count with much success.

Work in this area includes drafting Marital Settlement Agreements to divide the assets and debts by agreement in an effort to keep the client out of court and get the case resolved in a timely fashion. When necessary, we litigate the case and all of the surrounding issues, including spousal support, alimony and division of property. With every divorce I recommend a Power of Attorney and a new Will. The goal is to reach a conclusion to the case, one way or another, as quickly as possible.

Nancy helped our whole family!

My husband and I brought a very difficult pair of cases to Nancy nearly seven years ago. He had three kids with two different mothers, and very random, sporadic custody arrangements that were not agreed upon. Nancy advised us, calmed us, informed us and ultimately brought the entire family to the b...est conclusion possible. She is a compassionate, honest, trustworthy advocate for the children, and tough in court. Nancy is the best!

Father in custody dispute for 3 years

I was in a custody dispute for my son for around 3 years. I had another lawyer before Nancy who did NOTHING but take my money. went to Nancy and worked with her on and off for about 2 1/2 years. I will not go to another lawyer for anything. Nancy is my lawyer and will ALWAYS be my Lawyer. Number 1,Nancy is beyond exellent!if you are honest an truthful with her she will help you.Nancy is about the kids not taking your money -which is hard to find in her profession-shes a huge child actovete(i no its spelled wrong)she will tell you straight if you have a case or not.shes very down to ea...rth and easy to talk to.not overly priced for the results given,personally i didnt care about money i wanted my children in a safe envirement,nancy works hard and puts together the best case possible.We went to court,she did what she said she was going to do and more.If your lucky enough to spot her on this webpage use her and sleep better at night,THANK-YOU NANCY.
