Jared Charles Cobell

Jared Cobell worked on my custody case which turned into the successful adoption of my son to my husband. Jared is nice and I feel like he tried to keep me informed, but also felt like I wasn't informed at some points in time. A couple of times the documents had errors in them. Actually, my final ...order of adoption had a pretty big error in it stating the parental rights of (my husband's name) shall be terminated instead of the biological father's, but I don't know if that was because of the office he was working for at the time it was filed. I feel the reason for giving 3 dots on a few of those would have been helped if the office he was working for at the time was more cooperative and more organized(I don't think those were problems because of him). He is trustworthy and tries to get what you really want out of your case. I haven't worked with any lawyers before, but I would recommend him. He was very patient with us and pleasant to work with even though we flipped out a couple of times.

Do not hire this attorney. He is very young and inexperienced. Couldn't answer most of my simple questions...had to have my husband ask his attorney for me and Jared wasn't very knowledgable in family law whatsoever. My retainer fee was depleted within 2 weeks for dishonest billing. I had to promptly... switch attorneys as soon as I realized what a mistake it was to hire Mr. Cobell. My advise is to hire a more experienced attorney and save yourself having to pay two retainer fees.

Jared represented me over what could have been a potentially serious issue. I was a little concerned in the beginning over his young age. After speaking with him and discussing the case I soon realized that his knowledge and council were first class compared to other attorneys I've had. I was impr...essed with the way he handled the judge as well. The positive outcome to my legal issue is a testament to his expertise of the law and his ability to apply the law in your favor. His hard work made me a very happy client.
