Abram “Abe” McGull is a former Assistant United States Attorney with the United States Department of Justice. After 21 years with the Department of Justice and the United States Navy Reserve, Commander McGull retired from both positions and opened the McGull Law Firm, LLC that specializes in small business consultation, federal mediation, personal injury, and criminal defense. McGull has considerable municipal experience as the former elected Mayor of Pleasant Valley, Missouri and presently City Councilman of Springfield, Missouri. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, McGull distinguished himself by earning the Bronze Star. As a resident legal advisor with the Department of Justice in Iraq and Qatar, McGull earned the State Department’s Meritorious Honor Award for expeditionary diplomacy in a hostile and dangerous environment. McGull also serves on the board of directors of Springfield First Community Bank and the Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO).
