I was blindsided by a debt collector that had my wages garnished. I never was notified or served regarding this matter. I just had my employer come to me and say I apologize but I have a court order to garnish your wages, my employer garnished close to $800 per month. Ouch that hurt I am a sin...gle mother raising two teenage kids that really affected my way of living I felt like giving up. The debt with interest was an estimate of $7,000.
