More-than-Satisfied Couple!

Michelle is the kindest, most down-to-earth lawyer my husband or myself have ever encountered! She took our complicated case onto her plate at a time when she was already overloaded and, upon our initial consultation, figured out a way that we could afford her services within our means - something we... would have never been able to do without her generosity. She kept us informed, yet calm, throughout the entire "waiting" period of our case, and led us successfully to my husband's permanent residency. She was even able to admit when she didn't know about a particular aspect of our case, and wasn't afraid to explain to us how she later obtained the necessary information through deft research. I've both been employed and represented by many other lawyers and can safely say that Michelle Slayton is the cream of the crop!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
