Michelle Evelyn Ozog

In May 2012, I graduated from the University of Miami School of Law with my J.D. and with my Masters in Music Business and Entertainment Industries from UM's Frost School of Music. My work experience includes legal internships in the Legal/Business Affairs Departments of Sony Music Entertainment in New York City, Warner Music Latina, MTV Networks Latin America, and 1L-Music in Miami. Furthermore, my article entitled, "House Music: The Commercial Underground" was published in the October 2011 issue of the Berklee College of Music's Music Business Journal. I reside in New York City and sat for the July 2012 New York Bar, which I have passed. After I took the bar, I worked at the Law Offices of Jennifer Newman Sharpe, a solo practitioner entertainment attorney. With Jennifer, I had a great amount of hands on experience reviewing and drafting various agreements, including employment agreements, licensing agreements, venue agreements, and cease and desists. On April 29, 2013, I was admitted to the First Department of the New York Bar. I currently work as the In-House Copyright Attorney at TuneSat, LLC. Further, our department provides the Digital Rights Administration service to our clients. Generally, I handle and practice music copyright law, digital/technology law, general IP law, and contract law.
