Biography
Michael H. Rodgers received a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Tech University in 1986, graduating magna cum laude. He served as a bank regulator for 12 years, working both with the FDIC and with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. In 1999, he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) law degree from Texas Tech University, graduating cum laude. While attending law school, he served as editor of the Texas Bank Lawyer monthly publication. After law school, Mr. Rodgers worked for 3 years with another firm in San Antonio, after which he opened a solo practice with an emphasis on banking and small businesses. His practice has included real estate, business transactions, corporate strategic planning, business formations, securities, and estate planning. Mr. Rodgers has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Texas - San Antonio.
