Biography
Mr. Magee was born in Pennsylvania and made Phoenix his home in 1991. He attended Arizona State University where he graduated with honors and then attended the Arizona State University College of Law, graduating in 2001. In law school, Mr. Magee served as the President of the Environmental Law Society and received the Nathan Burkan Memorial Award for Best Copyright Paper from ASCAP (the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers) for his paper “Joint Authorship Doctrine for a New Millennium.”
Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Magee worked for insurance defense law firms handling wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases relating to trucking accidents, construction accidents, automobile accidents, defective products, premises liability and nursing home negligence. Mr. Magee gained extensive trial and litigation experience during that time. In 2005, Mr. Magee moved to the other side of the aisle and began representing people who were injured or lost loved ones through no fault of their own.
