I had my first appointment with this law firm on 2nd November 2022. Planning ahead, I informed the firm that I plan to be in the US in April 2025, and I'm using this time gap to ensure all the documents are ready. After a positive session and assessing my CV, they said that people with much less than... my CV have been granted a visa. I made a 50% payment immediately to show how serious I am, and I hoped to receive the list of documents soon. Despite my request for the list of required documents, they informed me only in November 2024 about "educational evaluation of your degrees and proof letters of experience" ! It meant communications with three alma mater, extra translations and payments, and approval processes. Regardless, I completed the WES evaluations in March 2025 after a one-hour direct phone call with WES, during which I explained what a research PhD degree is! The firm said nothing about "educational evaluation" or WES between November 2022 and November 2024 (2 years)! As a result, my deadline was not met, and there was no way for me to land in April 2025. Regardless, I paid the remaining 50%, and the application was made through. To compensate for the delay, without being my fault, I used a priority service and paid 5000 USD to save time. Application got declined; an expected outcome with the new administration; however, my application could have been done before this administration. I wrote to the lawyer and explained my frustration. The outcome was nothing, no partial or full refund. 10,000 USD for nothing. I used another firm that promised to check my documents "for free". They provided the list of required documents with WES listed as #1. So, my recommendation is not to use this firm for immigration cases. They are new, with no experience and no online reviews. I wish I had had it checked.
