I do not know how I would have gotten through my divorce without the support, compassion and strength that Michael Hagelberg showed throughout the process. By not letting me get bogged down in negative emotions, he appealed to my higher self which brought a settlement which my wife and i can be proud... or. He kept his concern for the children and helped us realize what we needed to do for their best interests

I hired Mr Hagelberg for collaborative law. It cost 15,000 to get a separation agreement that later on, I realized, that he put in the agreement that I needed to continue to pay support until my son was 21, even though my son had moved out of his fathers house.I realize now that Ishould have read it ...more closely. In May,2010 I started proceedings for a divorce since we had already had a separation agreement since 2008. $2800 later I still did not have any idea where the divorce was. I was told it was my ex that was holding things up. I requested to see what papers had been filed and he gave me his copies of what he had worked on. I hired a new attorney and found out that Mr Hagelberg never filed certain documents with the courts and there is a time element in filing papers. I needed to start over from the beginning and serve my childrens father with divorce papers again. The documents that he gave me that he did not file were very well done but they were of little value if they were not filed in a timely fashion.
