If you want to lose your case and give your money away, then hire this attorney. She gave me horrible advise and said she would take care of things, and did not. This ended up giving the other side jurisdiction and my case was eventually thrown out, because of it. I gave Miss Alfredson some money to... file and start things in Apirl, and she did not even file papers until July, after I paid her all her fees, this was not what we agreed upon. She told me that she would take care of an out-of-state RO, and did not. This eventually gave the other side jurisdiction. It has also prevented me from seeing my kids for almost 2 years now, because it has been tied up in that court system. Important!!! not only did she advise me to violate the RO it almost ended me up in jail for doing so. Not only was that the case. She did nothing as stated in the other review. She is hard to get a hold of and when you do, she will only do things over the phone so there is no documentation of what she does. Be very careful with her and get everything in writing, if she says she will do something get it in writing or do not believe it will happen. She claimed she served the other party twice, but could not get service on that person. When I filed service for something else on that person and was able to do so and the other attorney I ended up hiring; with the same address miss alfredson had. When I tried to get her off of the case she would not sign off and my other attorney had to send in the documentation to do this. Also it has been over a year since I terminated miss alfredson, and have still not gotten any of the retainer that was left over. She has kept my money. I had to file a claim with the OLR to get something done. I am still currently fighting to get the kids back that were removed from wisconsin. This case should have been done and over with. I had to spend an additional $2,500 to hire someone else to represent me. I was also told that because of the way things were mostly because of miss alfredsons actions. an out-of-state attorney was going to cost me ruffly $10,000 to fix everything. Mine was a very simple case. my then current gf left with the kids, while I was gone. and because of lack of doing anything about it from miss alfredson, it had been tied up in court. There was also a delay from the other state, which i am sure the things miss alfredson did not do will hold huge weight in that up coming case. I can not tell you what to do and what not to do, but please do not hire her.

She was my appellate attorney. She NEVER contacted me until I sent in my own motion for my served time I was cheated out of. She makes the date and time then NEVER contacts me before the phone call hearing from prison. She then tells the judge she isn't prepared and wants a new date. A DAY later I r...eceived a letter from her signing off my case ( obviously sent BEFORE my court date ). Then, she waits weeks to contact me and a week before the second court date she calls me to tell me she is cancelling the thing. I contacted the Office of Lawyer Regulation and they gave her a slap on the wrist. She spoke at least twice to the crooked ADA in charge of my case but not me. Who in their right mind would want a lawyer like that?
