About Megan
Biography
I am proud to practice family law at The McCarthy Law Firm in Tucson. I am also a proud Hoosier; I grew up in northern Indiana and graduated from Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington. I love Tucson and have practiced here since 2002. I began my career as a prosecutor for the Pima County Attorney’s Office and then worked in private practice representing creditors in bankruptcy. I am an Arizona State Bar Certified Family Law Specialist and have practiced exclusively in family law since 2012. I frequently handle dissolutions of marriage for clients with complex assets or high net worth. I especially enjoy cases where spousal maintenance is an issue or where the case requires business valuations or division and asset tracing. I also enjoy handling post-decree cases where the division of assets or support must be enforced or clarified.
I am happiest spending time with my family, practicing yoga, cooking, watching Indiana Hoosiers basketball, hunting through thousands of pages of financial documents to figure out where all of someone's money went, and hiding out in a quiet place with a good book.
I would be happy to speak with you about your case. My team consists of two paralegals, Shannon and Elizabeth, and me. We enjoy our work because of the people we meet. We are honored when someone chooses us to represent them.

Awesome
Came to megan after having an unpleasant experience with another lawyer who was clueless. She was able to jump in and wrap up my divorce in short period of time with a an unreasonable other party. In my profession I always look for "studs" and megan and her team are top of the field.
