If I was asked 19 years ago or 10 years ago, the reviews would be higher-because honestly, Mr. Sossi handled two different family matters with professionalism and with relative ease. In fact, when I retained Mr. Sossi 10 years ago, I lived in California and reached out to him to handle a situation th...rough the Texas courts. Hence why I consulted him on a more recent situation without hesitation. My current experience with Mr. Sossi has taken a turn and not for the better. I consulted with Mr. Sossi and paid a retainer. I did not sign the contract as things changed fairly quickly with my situation. I emailed Mr. Sossi to request a refund, which he agreed to send. This was six months ago and no refund. I was told via email, a text message, and by phone that the money was sent or would be sent. It would have been better to indicate that no refund will be sent opposed to stringing me along for months. I would have preferred to handle this privately.

Mr. Sossi has assisted me in a couple situations and I would certainly recommend his services to anyone in the San Antonio or South Central Texas region. He is very prompt in handling your case and charges a reasonable price for his services. Go and call his office, you will relieve stress almost i...mmediately. It is good to have an attorney to represent you and Mr. Sossi will do his best. Thank you Mr. Sossi.

I hired Matt 1 year ago now for child support and custody of my child. The entire time Matt was my attorney he rushed, he was never prepared. He talked down about me to the other attorney and made everything seem like a joke. Matt was terrible in each court appearance so much so that in one of the co...urt appearances the judge yelled at him. If I wouldn't have hired him I would have saved my money or if I would have read these reviews. He would often call me the day of telling me that we have court. He even sent me home from court on several days just to call me back. I read the other reviews and they are all exactly like my situation. He rushes into court not sharing information with you, he doesn't listen to what you want or hope to accomplish, he will work against you because he thinks he knows whats better for you. In the end 1 year later I am in the same situation out of money and nothing literally nothing has change. I don't have my child and my child support payments have not gone down.

I hired matt Sossi to handle my divorce case. he was very nice only at our first visit only to present a good image as a caring, trustworthy attorney. unfortunately afterwards, he should no interest in defending my rights as an attorney and he made me fell that he has no interest in my case. he would... not answer my phone calls, text massage or massages left with his secretary. I had no other choice than to replace him with another attorney. I asked Mr. Sossi to refund the potion of the money he has charged me for the services not rendered. he made up an itemized list for services he did not performed and over charged me, so he kept the money he does not deserve. Overall I had very bad experience with this attorney and i would not recommend him to any one.

Do not use matt sossi as an attorney. He is unprofessional, will only contact you when he needs something and lies to you about the contract. He rushed us in the final day of my divorce and i was even told that he never brought up my offers to the other attorney to try to come to an agreement. He wen...t out of his way to try to get extra money out of it. I have emails from him where he disrespects me continuously. There was never one point when i thought he was a good hire but he is the perfect example of getting what you pay for. I had terms with my ex wife and somehow he was able to make it so i ended up paying more and got totally screwed in every way. He also kept giving me fake deadlines telling me we had to be done by noon at 11:50 then 12:01 came around and he switched it to 1:30. He will try to argue every part of this but i will gladly show anyone my correspondence with him. I have let the texas bar know and i implore people to stay away from him.
