I'm a pastor in San Antonio Texas. I had the good fortune of hiring Attorney Matt Sossi to represent me, and the truth is, I was and still am more than very impressed. He shows up to every hearing on time, he's very caring, very generous with his time, very effective and also quite friendly and funny...; he makes you laugh. The best representation in my opinion a lawyer can give to any of his clients. You call him he answers, you text him he replies immediately. My case was resolved in my favor. Thanks to God and thanks in no small measure to the stellar representation of Attorney Matt Sossi. I will recommend him 1,000000% to anyone who is in need of a family attorney. Once again, in my opinion, the best family lawyer in Texas. Did I mention his pricing is quite reasonable too. All negative reviews are absolutely fake review from his pitiful unsavory competitors. Believe me, I'm a Pastor with no motivation to lie, this is indeed an objective review. Try him for yourself, God bless.

I hired Matt 1 year ago now for child support and custody of my child. The entire time Matt was my attorney he rushed, he was never prepared. He talked down about me to the other attorney and made everything seem like a joke. Matt was terrible in each court appearance so much so that in one of the co...urt appearances the judge yelled at him. If I wouldn't have hired him I would have saved my money or if I would have read these reviews. He would often call me the day of telling me that we have court. He even sent me home from court on several days just to call me back. I read the other reviews and they are all exactly like my situation. He rushes into court not sharing information with you, he doesn't listen to what you want or hope to accomplish, he will work against you because he thinks he knows whats better for you. In the end 1 year later I am in the same situation out of money and nothing literally nothing has change. I don't have my child and my child support payments have not gone down.

Do not use matt sossi as an attorney. He is unprofessional, will only contact you when he needs something and lies to you about the contract. He rushed us in the final day of my divorce and i was even told that he never brought up my offers to the other attorney to try to come to an agreement. He wen...t out of his way to try to get extra money out of it. I have emails from him where he disrespects me continuously. There was never one point when i thought he was a good hire but he is the perfect example of getting what you pay for. I had terms with my ex wife and somehow he was able to make it so i ended up paying more and got totally screwed in every way. He also kept giving me fake deadlines telling me we had to be done by noon at 11:50 then 12:01 came around and he switched it to 1:30. He will try to argue every part of this but i will gladly show anyone my correspondence with him. I have let the texas bar know and i implore people to stay away from him.

Matt Sossi said he would be there every step of the way but he failed to return phone calls text or keep me inform about my case. He never gave me paperwork stating the orders that the judge put into place. He didnt sit with me or help me during court dates he sat with the opposing lawyer and laughed... and joked with him the whole time. He talked badly about me to the opposing lawyer with me sitting right there and made everything out to be a joke. He never got visitation set in stone , this lawyer has done nothing for me and i paid him more then what he was worth and feel as though i got screwed over this court date has been dragging on for a long time and the opposing cleint should be held in contempt but Matt didnt want to play that card. This lawyer leaves you in the dark and makes you feel as though your not important and that your an idiot he thinks hes above everyone and does no wrong its pathetic. I would not hire him if i was you, you will lose everything and be made to be a joke. Genesis Lindsey

I hired Matthew Sossi after he was recommended to me by a work associate who is a father like me, and who had a fair and successful resolution to his divorce. I wanted a modification to my divorce orders so I can guarantee that I can continue to have my kids in Catholic school and to lower my chil...d support payments. I like how Matthew Sossi tells you how much a phase of the legal battle will cost, charge you for it, and will not ask for more money until that phase is completed. He does not nickle and dime you. Matthew is also honest with you in regards to estimating whether or not you can win a particular argument. I think he leans toward caution on whether or not you can win a judgement. He wants you to know that there is a factor of the unknown regarding what the various judges will decide. Regarding my own court battle, I can say that when faced with a judge against my former spouse and her attorney, Matthew Sossi won 3 of the 4 decisions up for deliberation. The other attorney spoke more, but Matthew stuck to the important points that were a factor in the debate, and resulted in decisions in my favor. As a result of the negotiations and court visits, I have been guaranteed that my children will complete Catholic school, in addition to lower my child support.
